I am so slack, just realised how long it has been since I have posted!
The last few weekends I have been able to do a bit of sewing ( just closed my eyes to the cleaning that needed doing LOL).
But first here is a pic of a Bunny made for me by Karen Mallory for aFriendship Swap in our yahoo group. It is a Sweet Meadows Farm pattern. She has done a really great job and I love it!
Thanks Karen!
Next is a pic of some blocks I have been making. They are made from Homespun Plaid fabrics and seeded muslin. They are made using Triangulations paper. What a wonderful discovery! Here is a pic of the Triangulations paper. You put your 2 peices of fabric right sides together and then pin the paper to the top.
You then sew on the dotted lines...
and then you cut on the solid lines. You end up with 2 triangles sewn together and then you sew 2 of those together to get half square triangles.Next pic is a sneaky peek at what I am making for my partner in the Friendship swap.
It is all finished and will be posted off to the Netherlands this week.
