Today it started again and the flooding is getting to the highest levels we have seen in the 21 years we have lived here!
Here are some pics we took before it got dark but it is actually a lot higher now, just can't get photos in the dark. These photos are of the our back verandah, now completely under water.
Notice the tape around the tall pot?? Craig knocked it over with the lawn mower LOLThese photos are of the soccer fields at the back of our place. One end is completely over the drain, the storm water tunnel is blocked and is at least 12ft high!! The tunnel was put in to stop the field flooding but unfortunatley it is so blocked up with rubbish and reeds that no water is getting away!!
We are quite high above the fields but it is over 12 ft high at one end and at least 4ft at the other end so it is a bit of a worry LOL. I hope it eases up overnight or we will be flooded in tomorrow! What a shame, can't get to work LOL.
The road was closed the other day due to flooding and it was nowhere near as bad as this.
The photo below is what it should look like!

That is a lot of water! The soccer field looks like a lake! Hope you don't get water in the house!!! Of course it does all help agaonst the drought in the long run.
