I left very early in the morning and we had a heavy frost and some areas were very foggy. As I came over the bridge at Windsor you couldn't see the river for the fog then as I started my drive through the turf farms there was a glow in the fog - it was the sun rising - quite spectacular!!
Poor Cardy couldn't come at the last minute as she was having woes from prospective home buyers but her replacement came along and had a great time!
Now to the quilts. Everyone had a different quilt to make, some got further than others, but everyone sewed their little hearts out all weekend!
I didn't get a top finished as I was talked into trying a Quilt As You Go quilt which meant trying Free Motion Quilting for the first time! So my quilt is still in blocks and panels waiting to be put together, but at least it is nearly all quilted!! This is the quilt I am making - photo courtesy of Kerry's blog.
