Very nice fabric Anita.... I have that in a jelly roll that I should make into something. Glad you explained the "rope" I was worried about the tree. LOL!
lovely bag! .....and the fence being held up by rope around a tree is fine...better than having the fence fall down...and this solution will last for ages (unless the tree falls down) then you will need to do something about the fence..... :)

What a lovely bag I bet your friend love the bag that you made for her. I also like the pocket you put on the fron of the bag.
