Soo.....last month I had another birthday and for a nice change it fell on a Saturday. Craig surprised me with this beautiful necklace, it is white and yellow gold laced together, very delicate.
I also had some parcels to open thanks to my Secret Stitching Sisters which was fun
Here is a pic of all the gorgeous fabric and goodies I recieved - thanks girls - I love it all!! I have some more that came in the next week which I must take a photo of.
We headed out for the day, to some other parts of our city. First stop Balmain. And this delicious Patisserie! It was too small and busy in there to take pics but those of you that know of Adriano Zumbo will know that his creations are amazing! And of course a box of cake and macarons came home with us!
As we knew we had bought the cakes to take home it was a lovely lunch of crispy skinned Salmon. One of the nicest meals I have had for a while.
After lunch we headed down to the water for this beautiful view. I have never been here before, it really is a beautiful place, will will be coming back to spend a bit more time exploring this area.
A wedding being set up in the park....
This park/wharf was part of an old Ship dockyard, some amazing history there and lovely old stone.
From Balmain we headed to Leichhardt to the Italian Forum for the Twilight markets and a 'light' Italian dinner.
A beautiful day out with my man, very relaxing day after all the last 6 months.
