Another month has been and gone since the last blog post - gee time goes quick!!! Have done a bit of sewing, nothing to show yet though, mostly some quilt bindings and a gift or two and a little bit more progress on my Gardener's Journal stitcheries.
At the end of January Tim was quite sick and taking a while to recover so we took him down to the beach one day to get some fresh air -
a walk.....
and a snooze....
I ducked into the city one night after work to meet up with another blogger and C-R-A-F-T friend and had dinner together in Chinatown...
and saw some interesting things in the shop window....
And I have had another birthday,
which included a lovely dinner at a favourite Italian restaurant....
and a fantastic present...............
We also got together for a sewing day where we all sewed a Jelly Roll quilt.....
SandyN''s beautiful quilt ....
My quilt (Chrysalis by Moda)............
and this is as far as mum got LOL.............
I think that's all for now!!!!!

I LOVE going to the Asian stores around here. They're owned by a Korean family, but they stock all kinds of Asian foods, as well as Latino foods. They have the BEST fish available (other than the $$$ fish market) and really good produce at reasonable prices. YUMMY.
