A blog win & a finished project

Last week I won a blog prize from Moore Patchwork and Quilting and she sent me this beautiful charm pack, pattern & ric rac. Thanks Lyn! Lyn has a great website and blog and keeps up to date with all the latest patterns.

I also finished the needlecase that was one of Rosie's projects in Nundle. I have started working on the bag that matches but think that might take a tad longer!

I did start to make a bag on the weekend for a bag challenge in our Yahoo group but I muffed up on cutting up the lining so I have put it away until the next sewing session I get LOL

Finished!!

I can finally show you what I have been working on! I made this Pink Ribbon raggy quilt for my mum for her birthday on Friday. Unfortunately it wasn't finished for Friday but I gave it to her today.

It is a bit smaller than I had hoped for so it is definitely only a lap quilt!!

The fabric is Quilt Pink by Moda Charm squares and the backing is a Pink Ribbon fabric I picked up at Nundle.

Today

What a lovely day today! Have been looking forward to this extra long weekend. Craig has 2 days off too so that is nice. He has been busy treating rust and putting in new suspension underneath our camper trailer so I got the day to myself! So I finished this stichery for the Needlecase from Nundle, have yet to make the needlecase though, although Maree assures me it is very quick LOL

While I was doing that I was watching this

my Andre Rieu DVD that Tim gave me for christmas and I hadn't watched yet. Gee I enjoyed it!

I then spent the afternoon sewing another project, which I can't show yet on here, but it involved lots of squares!

Then tonight we went and saw this movie

and had a yummy dinner here.
