My first quilt top

Yesterday I put together my first every quilt top!! It is made from charm squares and the fabric is called "Laurel" by Moda. I am making it for my work mate Laurel who picks me up and takes me to and from work every Monday.

Now I just figure out how to quilt it!!

Goodies in the mail!

This week I received my bag from Khris for our bag swap. As you can see it is gorgeous, I love the colours and I love the style - THANKS KHRIS!!

She also sent me a few little goodies that were my winnings from a game we played in our Yahoo C-R-A-F-T group. A needle case and a post it note holder. both lovely as well!

Another bag finished

Have just finished this bag, my first christmas present! It is from a recent Handmade magazine and is designed by Leanne Beasley.

Long Weekend

It was a long weekend here and Craig had a couple of days off so we headed up to the Blue Mountains to stay at Leura. We visited this quaint tea rooms in the Megalong Valley for lunch on Saturday and had yummy home made soup. They even had curls of butter to put on the rolls. The gardens were lovely.

We then went up to Hargraves Lookout and looked over the Megalong Valley, just spectacular.

We also had a look in the Hydro Majestic, an art deco hotel on the ridge of the valley.

The annual garden festival was on in Leura so here are some pics of the gorgeous gardens & flowers.

Another bag!

Here is a pic of another bag I made at the same time as the last one, I just couldn't show you the pic yet as it had to get to its destination!

It is the same pattern as the last bag but made with the Posh range of fabric. It has gone to live with Khris who was my swap partner in the bag swap in our yahoo group - the best yahoo group I reckon too!!
